Mr. Ruf joined SFW Capital Partners in 2024. He participates in the evaluation and execution of new investment opportunities, industry research, and support of current investments. Prior to SFW, he was previously at Brown Brothers Harriman serving as an investment professional in the firm’s internal private equity vehicles, BBH Capital Partners and Cedar Street Equity, evaluating both buyout investments and minority co-investments. Before BBH, he worked as an investment banking professional at TD Securities in the Financial Sponsors and Credit groups, where he worked on mergers and acquisitions and leveraged finance transactions. Mr. Ruf received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (Accounting & Financial Management) from Bucknell University’s Freeman College of Management.
